Blackhoof Village in Dustwallow Marsh is also a decent place. The mobs drop 1-3 Silk Cloth and they respawn pretty quickly, you can keep running from one end of the camp to the other and farm Silk Cloth. When you have enough Silk Cloth, go to my Mageweave Cloth farming page.

Silk Cloth is a fine form of cloth that can be farmed more easily when compared to W ool cloth in Wow Classic. The players leveling Tailors will require 860 Silk Cloth, and First Aid, will require 90 Silk Cloth. If you are looking for reputation turn-ins, then you would require 60 silk cloth.

You can farm a lot of Lightless Silk from Beleaguered Excavators, Excavation Enforcers, Nefarious Thugs, and Nefarious Collectors at Archivam in Revendreth. They are really close to each other, so you can make big pulls and AoE them down. The respawn rate is fast enough that you should never run out of mobs.

Farming Silk Cloth. Silk Cloth sells anywhere between 5 and 15 gold per stack. The best way to farm it is with a level 50 or higher character who can go into Scarlet Monastery and solo the mobs. However, if you’re level 50, you can probably find something better to farm if you’re just looking to make gold.

Swamp of Sorrows Silk Cloth farming. The Lost Ones in the northern part of the Swamp of Sorrows are amazing for farming gold at low levels. They are around level 36-38, making them perfect to farm for your level 40 mount. Silk Cloth usually sells for ~1g per stack, and they also have great drop rates for grey items.

You can farm lightless silk by killing and looting Humanoid NPCs in shadowlands. Any Humanoid NPC as 20% chance to drop lightless silk. However a much higher drop chance if you have Tailoring profession for Shadowlands which unlocks the perk shadowlands cloth scavenging .
