If you are grouped and do a 5 man run of SM you will have more than likely obtained a Stack or two of this by the end of the run. Comment by warthog2k I find a good source for Ironweb Spider Silk to be any of the spiders in Western Plaguelands. I can normally drop about 4 of these in about 20-30 minutes of grinding. The spiders range from 50-55 and are non-elite mobs. At level 60+ you'll probably not need to worry about attracting aggro from the local bears or anything.
